NSDE Foundation is dedicated to realizing the vision of a world where everyone, regardless of background or circumstances, has access to quality education.
The beginning of NSDE was deeply influenced by the urgent necessity to tackle the exclusion of girls from education in Afghanistan starting from 2021. This critical situation, acted as a significant catalyst for our formation, emphasizing our strong commitment in education as an essential human right for everyone worldwide, regardless of background or circumstances. We believe that education is a right and not a privilege.
At NSDE, our focus is on promoting sustainable development through education. We promote and advocate for quality education as a fundamental human right for all, as well as working on projects that provide access to education, specifically targeting marginalised communities and promoting gender equality.
We accomplish this through a variety of educational programs and projects. Through our initiatives and efforts, we aim to ensure that every individual, regardless of background or circumstances, has access to educational opportunities that enable personal growth and contribute to positive societal change.
At NSDE, everyone involved primarily work on a voluntary basis. We are all volunteers championing NSDE’s mission to promote and advocate for education as a fundamental human right.
At NSDE, we are deeply committed to align our projects with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where Goal 4: Quality education holds particular significance. We understand that education serves as a catalyst for achieving multiple SDGs, driving positive change and sustainable development worldwide. By prioritising Goal 4, we aim to unlock the potential of education as a fundamental human right and a key driver of progress towards a more equitable and sustainable future.
