Nazifa Popal, a 5th-year medical student based in Kabul, Afghanistan, is passionate about transforming education, especially for women in Afghanistan. Alongside her medical studies, she is gaining hands-on experience through internships at a dental clinic, performing abdominal ultrasounds for women, assisting in a pharmacy, and volunteering with over seven organizations. Her goal is to provide quality care to patients both globally and within her community. Nazifa has been recognized for offering free consultations to countless women and remains driven despite the challenges she faces. With a deep interest in the complexities of the human mind, she is equally committed to advancing educational opportunities. Through NSDE’s mission, Nazifa is eager to contribute her expertise in English to help advanced students further enhance their English language proficiency.
