Senior Project Manager

I am a seasoned professional with a passion for innovation and education and I am dedicated to driving positive change. My journey has taken me across diverse domains, from cuttingedge medical diagnostics to empowering female students in Afghanistan. Here’s a glimpse into my impactful contributions: 1. Medical Diagnostics Pioneer: At Microlabs Australia, I spearheaded the development of diagnostic products for microbiology. Notably, we enhanced the detection of Bordetella pertussis, the bacterium responsible for Whooping-Cough in children. Our team also devised a groundbreaking diagnostic test for gastroenteritis and improved methods for detecting Campylobacter jejuni. In the Bio-med Lab, I championed women’s health by researching and developing innovative solutions. Our breakthrough method for sample collection and isolation of Gardnerella vaginalis addressed uncomfortable conditions in women, potentially preventing premature births. 2. Process Innovator at Equicell Australia: Focused on process innovation, I revamped the collection and processing of animal blood products used in Invitro laboratory diagnostics. By introducing nonterminal blood collection methods, we ensured the survival of donor animals. To enhance quality management and traceability I developed a specialised database system enabled precise reporting, identification, and monitoring of specific haematological traits. This unique selling proposition satisfied technical requirements for customers both in Australia and internationally. 3. Empowering Education in Afghanistan: Collaborating with Afghan academics, I co-founded a University-College that provides online Virtual Classrooms via mobile phones. Our courses span Secondary Education (Year 7 to Year 12) and Bachelor programs in Islam Law, Jurisprudence, Political Science, and International Contract Law and vocational training in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Computer Literacy. We’ve designed tailored pedagogy to foster social interaction and engagement, especially for students facing social isolation and prolonged absence from education. Recent changes in Afghanistan have also prompted us to explore Primary Education for girls.4. Championing Innovation: My track record underscores the importance of innovation across industries. I understand the intricate processes required for successful application and adoption. In summary, my journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to making a difference. As an SME for Leading Complex Systems, I look forward to furthering equity in education and leaving a lasting impact.
