Welcome to Network of Sustainable Development and Education (NSDE) Organization, where we are dedicated to realizing the vision of a more equitable and sustainable world.
Many Afghan girls cannot go to school due to the imposed ban on education beyond 6th grade. The NSDE Online School gives them a chance to continue learning from home. Through this program, girls can study online, complete their schooling, and earn an internationally recognized diploma. This helps them access higher education and career opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
This project is a collaborative endeavor between NSDE and K12 Online Schools, aimed at providing accessible and high-quality education to Afghan girls. By leveraging online learning platforms and quality educators with an accredited curriculum, the project seeks to overcome geographical, socio-economic and political barriers, ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to pursue her educational aspirations.
Online Learning Accessibility: Recognizing the importance of accessibility, our project’s online medium ensures that students can access education from anywhere within Afghanistan, leveraging their laptops and internet connections.
Bridging the Education Gap: The project serves as a bridge for Afghan girls who have been unable to access formal education due to existing ban on education. By offering accredited online schooling from 7th grade onwards, the project enables girls to resume their education and continue on a path towards academic success.
International Recognised Cambridge Certification: Through our partner school’s affiliation with Cambridge UK, the students will be awarded with the IGCSE and A level certificates on successful completion of the exams. The Cambridge IGCSE and A level Certifications are accepted by Universities all across the world. This is an important part for the organisation and students to help them transition to pursue their degrees.
In addition to academic instruction, the project offers comprehensive support programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of Afghan girls. This includes English language support, academic and emotional counseling, technology assistance, and parental involvement initiatives, ensuring that girls receive the holistic support they need to succeed academically and personally.
The project’s impact is measured against the achievement of SDG 4: Quality Education, reflecting NSDE’s commitment to advancing sustainable development through education. By empowering Afghan girls with access to quality online education, the project not only transforms individual lives but also contributes to the broader goal of building a more inclusive and equitable society.
