Frishta Shafaie
Frishta Shafaie is a passionate student and an enthusiastic curriculum developer at the NSDE Foundation, where she is dedicated to creating and editing educational content for English studies specifically designed for Afghan girls. Her mission is to craft engaging and culturally relevant materials that inspire confidence and foster a love for learning.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Frishta’s journey in education began over a year ago when she volunteered online with OEGC. This experience ignited her passion for teaching, and she continued her efforts with OEWC, where she connected with students and shared her knowledge in meaningful ways.
Frishta also had the opportunity to join the Aghaz organization, where she assisted Afghan youth in writing non-fiction stories for nine months. This role was not just a job; it was an incredible journey of creativity and personal growth that deepened her understanding of storytelling and its power to inspire.
At NSDE, Frishta thrives on the collaborative spirit of her team, working alongside fellow educators to develop resources that truly resonate with young learners. Her belief in the transformative power of education drives her to make a positive impact in her community, and she is excited to be part of a movement that empowers the next generation of girls.
With her dedication and enthusiasm, Frishta is committed to making a difference, one lesson at a time.
